Welcome to “Lez Looks” a series that is dedicated to celebrating how YOU express yourself through fashion. Each month we choose one of readers and showcase a weeks worth of their “Lez Looks”. Checking out the looks through which they live their lives.
Featured today on Lez Looks, is Estefania. Estefania (@fannykahlo) is a 26 year old self proclaimed queer xciana out of San Francisco who has a serious eye for pulling vintage pieces. She told me recently that “I’m passionate about vintage fashion as fashion. It’s a living art form. Each piece of clothing I own is a historic treasure.” When Estefania isn’t creating exhibits in her closets, this boisterous visionary with ethereal feelings can be found spreading self love via freelance writing or in attendance of any music festival within a 100 mile radius.
Without further ado here is some absolutely lit vintage that is about to have you dropping Pokemon Go this weekend in order to hunt some vintage pieces instead.
“Lady in reeeeeeed… ” Soooo much we love about this look. The polkadot blouse paired with leather elements so often reserved for straight up street style elements is the perfect offset. The contrast of these element screates a unique softness a white T’ just could never pull off. The bolo tie… is the MOFO crowning jewel here.
Estefania took her bolo tie to a whole new place here by throwing it on top of a vintage T’ and pairing it with some 90’s Kris Kross style plaid. “Warm it up Kris… I’m about to…” The high waisted jeans add a super current touch. The western belt ties the bolo and plaid together giving off some southwestern feels.
Being this brilliant has got to be exhausting! Leather, suede, stripes… Check, Check, Check. Flowing like the best mix tape you eva heard.
LOoove the joy all over this photo. I’d def have this exact face on the entire time I wore this ridiculously cute tank. Tannnnnnk goals. (Mom, Santa… if you are reading this… I’ve been sorta good this year… like I mean, if you consider eating pussy and eye rolling good.)
This is a woman, you do not leave standing on the wall. 1 part rad large print large collared 70’s dress, 1 part simple accessories, a leather nappy, splash of red lip, garnish with a kiss, and shake that shit on the dance floor, don’t stir.
